November

November was a very, very hectic month. Lots of good things happened and some that we could have definitely lived without. Among the good things were….Ximena has mastered her crawling skills and she is now pulling up and cruising everywhere!!! She now has two teeth that make her smile look absolutely adorable. She is showing a great interest in some of her books that she likes to hear over and over and over again!
When she turned seven months, she started to wake up quite a bit in the middle of the night, but in this month, she’s gone back to her normal sleeping habits. Actually, it only took her one day to adjust to daylight savings time!!! She has started eating finger foods. In general, we are going pretty slowly on the solids deal, but we are getting there.
The not-so-great things that happened were just probably normal baby stuff. Her first tooth gave her a little bit of a fever and some other unpleasant symptoms. She also had a couple of bad colds (including croup) that really made us feel like daycare is not such a great idea, but what are you going to do….?
