Ximena has a lot of hobbies, but there is one that has been easier to catch in pictures. We all know that babies sleep a lot, but I’m starting to think that she is particularly good at it. I have not heard of many babies who, at three months of age, sleep in with their parents till 9:30am (on weekends of course). Now that she is older and more active, she is not doing it very often any more, but still, the ease with which she makes her self go to sleep at nap time or at night still surprises me.
During Ximena’s first three months, when my mother was here, she said she didn’t hear her cry once at night. When she was hungry, she would start moving and making some noises, but as soon as she started eating, she would fall back asleep and finish her bottle without even opening her eyes.
